after- GORGEOUS!

A few years ago, we updated this house by removing the heavy, dark faux finishes, furniture and window treatments.  The homeowners are young and wanted a fresh  updated traditional house. Working with Kingon Homes the breakfast nook was added to give the family more space.  At the time of the original remodel we kept the existing kitchen (only painting). It is large, well laid out and bright.

This season, the home owners decided it was time to update the kitchen. The cabinets and the layout still worked beautifully so we were able to keep them and just make a few modifications without having to do a whole new kitchen. We lowered the raised bar to counter height, changed the counter tops to a stunning quartzite, put in a chiseled marble subway tile back splash,  and added paneling to the back of the bar. The hood was taken down and a new one built to match cabinets with a beautiful new free standing range under it.

Check back soon- we will be posting more of our recent completed projects in the coming weeks!
