Before & After- Open, Inviting, Defined, and Spacious Living

This is an amazing transformation.

We added an entertainment wall featuring a ventless Bio-Ethanol fireplace, a coffered ceiling, and beautiful new furnishings.  Accessories introduce a little pop of color in an otherwise neutral setting.  To keep the neutral color palette interesting, we mixed textures from the silk rug, linen like fabrics to the stone fireplace.

Each space is well defined, but at the same time, the open concept of the house is really showcased. The wood flooring in the kitchen and the ceiling details both define the room.  The entertainment wall, rug, and coffered ceiling in the living area define that space.

While we could not give the client the wood floors throughout the house they wanted, we were able to incorporate them into the re-designed kitchen.  It is a win win- major savings for the budget and a fabulous look.

As shown in the foyer photographs, the ceiling in the home was very high and lacked interest.  The foyer was a particular challenge because it did not feel special and the space was not defined.  We wanted to create separate  and more intimate spaces throughout the house.  By adding ceiling treatments to the rooms and changing the ceiling heights, the rooms actually now appear larger and the house is more open in spite of having more defined spaces.

The kitchen was totally transformed.  Before it was dark, closed in and uninviting.  The soffit was removed, the and layout was changed to one large rectangular island.  The pantry was incorporated into the cabinet design.  Again a ceiling design was added along with much needed can lighting. The white cabinets are gorgeous sitting on the rich wood floors.

This house is spectacular! We checked all of the homeowners wish boxes and then some and still came in on budget! Amazing!
